�A Sport Council Lottery Fund capital programme to assist sports clubs and governing bodies within the development of locally-based sports facilities�

Two key aims of the Strategy for the Development of Sport in Northern Ireland 1997 � 2005, are to enable as many people as possible, and especially young people to take part in sport, and to provide structured opportunities for participants to continue their involvement in sport.

The Club Sport capital programme aims to support this objective by creating well-designed sports facilities at local level that will result in a measurable increase in sports development opportunity in that area.

Minimum Grant:	�5,000
Maximum Grant:	�100,000
Maximum % Award:	70%
