TEAM OF THE MONTH 



Moyle Primary School

 

     Moyle PS were nominated by the Larne FC Youth Development Officer, Jim Hagan.

Jim Hagan has visited every primary school in the Larne area this season to deliver mini-soccer coaching.
Moyle Primary School have had a very successful season, winning every competition that they have entered, including :-

- Larne Indoor 5-a-sides
- Larne Primary School League
- Larne 7-a-side Tournament
- Larne High School 5-a-side competition
- RNLI Championships – a tournament organised by Jim Hagan.

        The team consists of many very committed boys. School coach, Vice Principal, Mr Jonny Houston has had 16 talented young boys to choose from throughout the season. All the
boys have been involved with the Larne FDC through the Mini-Soccer coaching, school visits and the U11 Team.


MERIT AWARD




Gerard Crosley – Cliftonville FC

 

               Gerward was nominated the Cliftonville YouthDevelopment Officer, Kyle Spiers.

                   Gerard has proved to be a great asset to Cliftonville Football Development Centre,
           holding responsibility within
the Mini-Soccer and Community programmes.
                  He is a committed coach who is currently undertaking his UEFA ‘B’ Licence
           coaching certificate.

 

PLAYER OF THE MONTH



Liam O’Neill and Paul Sweeney
Newry City FC

 

     Liam and Paul were nominated by the Newry City Youth Development Officer, Malcolm Roberts.

Both Liam and Paul had not participated in soccer coaching until October 2003 and come
from a Gaelic Football background.  Their attitude and commitment to their soccer coaching
is impressive and they are continuing to develop and improve their skills.
They have both achieved a place on the club’s School of Excellence.   Both young players are showing great potential.
