TEAM OF THE MONTH 

Armagh City U-12s

Nominated by the Armagh City YDO, Michael McKeown.

Armagh City U12’s have reached the Northern Ireland’s Boys Cup Final with an impressive run of results:-

- 1st Round – Donegal Celtic 8-1

- 2nd Round – Tri Star 3-2

- Quarter Finals – Foyle Harps 2-1

- Semi Final – Riada 2-1

They are the first team from that area to ever make the Boys Cup Final.

MERIT AWARD

Ally Speirs – Moyola/Tobermore Joint FDC

Nominated by the Moyola/Tobermore YDO, Paul Kee.

Ally is currently qualified to Junior Team Manager level and is currently completing his European “B” Licence.  Ally has also had a coaching spell at Mass Pro Soccer in Boston, USA.

Ally has now been promoted to Assistant Development Officer at the Moyola/Tobermore FDC.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Paddy Donnelly - Lisburn Distillery FDC

Nominated by the Lisburn Distillery YDO, Ray Alexander.

14 years old.

Paddy was plagued with injuries at the start of the season.  Paddy was very determined to get fit again and has spent time rehabilitating.

He has now fought his way back to fitness.

He has now been selected to represent Northern Ireland Schoolboys.
