In
February 2003 The Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults (PoC&VAO)
Order entered legislation, with a section of the order coming into force in
November 2004. The Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety
how recently issued a first information note on the implication of the legislation.
The
Volunteer Development Agency will host a number of half-day workshops to provide
information on the legislation and its implications for the community and
voluntary sector. The table below gives details of dates and venues. Please
